Pan-India Medical Students Opt For TS Colleges

For the first time medical aspirants from across the country have enrolled for MBBS first year in private colleges in TS.

In the two-day counselling session that was held on Friday and Saturday for admission into management quota seats (B category) based on NEET ranks, students from Haryana, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh etc. took admission.

According to convener Prof. V Venkat, all the 713 MBBS seats were filled. While 4,000 students were called for the counselling, MBBS quota ended at 1,584. The rest of the candidates have to be content with BDS seats.
